Am besten gefallenWe had a fantastic stay at the JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious escape in Venice. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptional. Check-in was warm, attentive and professional, making us feel genuinely welcome. We stayed in a beautiful Junior Suite, which was spacious, stylish and immaculately presented. We did have one minor maintenance issue with the bath, which wasn’t running properly. However, the team responded quickly and had it resolved within a few hours. We were really impressed with how efficiently it was handled. The attention to detail across the hotel was evident, and the food was consistently excellent. Yes, it’s an expensive hotel, but in our opinion, it’s worth paying for the overall experience, service and surroundings. Do get a cocktail from the lobby bar - they are fabulous! The only aspect that let the hotel down slightly was the rooftop infinity pool. While the views are stunning, the pool itself appeared not to have had a thorough clean for quite some time. The infinity edge wasn’t operating and looked as though it hadn’t been working for a while, with visible lines of algae in places. There was also no dedicated poolside service, which we’d expected at a hotel of this standard, although staff did bring drinks to the sun loungers. Those points aside, this is a truly excellent resort with outstanding staff, beautiful accommodation and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. We’d definitely return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Venice.
