Am besten gefallenAbsolutely beautiful property with stunning priceless views of Mount Etna. The San Don does have nicer rooms - but the overall experience here is far far better and that is what makes your holiday. We cannot state how impeccable the service is for a property of this size - personalised and genuine - intuitive - a rare thing that they anticipate your needs. . All staff from the most junior to managerial roles are excellent can hold a conversation etc. we stay quite frequently at Claridges and in some respects it reminds you of there - nothing is too much. Incredible food at the hotel and the sister property at the beach. My wife used the spa this year which is now permanent Dior fixture and it was incredible. Amazing massage - again rivalled the ones my wife has in claridges. Easy shuttle to the beach which is a massive bonus in Taormina. Rooms have beautiful views but are a tad older and require updating it but the beauty of the property, the food and the service make up for it. Albeit we recommend taking a more straightforward room category.
