Could improveThis is one of the worst experiences in a 5 star hotel, including other 5 star Marriott hotels I have stayed in. When we checked into the room we booked, it was dirty (walls, bed, curtains) and had outdated furniture and carpet. We went to the reception, they apologized and gave us a ~150 EUR discount on drinks and food and a slightly better room. Unfortunately, although the room was clean, it also had outdated and worn out furniture. If it wasn't for the staff who were really helpful and nice for such a price/quality ratio, I would have given it a 1 point. The hotel rooms are definitely not 5 star, but at most 3 star, and you really can't expect that from The Ritz-Carlton.
