What data we process

For browsing and search we process: the searches you run (destination, dates, number of guests), needed to query the rate engines; standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) in server logs, kept for security and diagnostics; your preferred language and currency, stored in your browser. An account is optional: if you create one, we process the email used to sign in and the list of your bookings.

If you complete a booking on edenfinder.com we process the data needed to conclude it: guest names, contact email and stay details. These are transmitted to Nuitee Travel Limited (the merchant of record, which collects the payment and issues the invoice) and to the property, solely to fulfil the booking. Card details are entered in Nuitee’s secure payment flow and never pass through or get stored on Edenfinder’s systems.

If you instead choose to book on a partner site (Booking.com, Expedia, Aviasales and others), payment and booking details are collected and processed exclusively by the partner you choose, under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and affiliate tracking

The site uses essential technical cookies and affiliate attribution tools (Travelpayouts) that let partners recognise that a visit came from Edenfinder. These tools do not build advertising profiles and do not sell data to third parties.

To understand how the site is used we also run anonymous, COOKIELESS statistics: we set and read no cookies, we do not store your IP address (it is used only momentarily to derive a country, then discarded), we create no identifier and we do not link your visits together. The data collected (page visited, country, device type, referring site, language) is aggregate and anonymous and cannot identify you. If you accept analytics cookies, we additionally use Google Analytics for more detailed measurement.

Maps are provided by Google Maps: loading the map transfers technical data to Google under Google’s privacy policy.

Newsletter subscription

When you subscribe to the newsletter we process your email address, the language you were using and where you signed up (for example the site or an invite link), together with the signup date. The legal basis is the consent you give at signup. We use this data solely to send you the offers and updates you asked for, and we keep it until you ask to be removed. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. An email to info@edenfinder.com is enough.
