Lord of the flies

Piaciuto di piùExcellent location, quality of the room and the bathroom was also very good. Good beds and very quiet. However, we had to return two time for checking in, because the room wasn’t ready. The staff was very kind, but there were not enough people at peak hours. Only one person during the times for checking in/out in high season. The system for self check in/out was not working properly. The room wasn’t ready covered with moths/flies. We must have killed at least 50, but they kept returning. Also there was a lot of hairs and dust on the floor. I would not suggest this to anyone else.

My second stay here and it will not be my last!

Piaciuto di piùThe rooms were very well appointed. The hotel was in a lovely residential area, but the more central areas could be easily reached by tram. The food hall next door was excellent. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and you could order individual items from the kitchen.

Piaciuto di piùEs gab weitere Angebote, wie Kino, Essen ect. im Gebäudekomplex. Das Design des Hotels war stilvoll. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war auf einem modernen Stand.

Da migliorareDas nicht funktionale Zimmerdesign, wie eine nicht verschließbare, sowie geräuschdurchlässige Tür zum Klo war etwas ungünstig.

Unfreundlicher Check in, kaputter AC und Ratten vor der Tür im Sitzbereich

Da migliorareCheck-in durch italienische Mitarbeiterin war sehr unfreundlich. Klimaanlage hat zwei Tage nicht funktioniert. Die Situation war vor unserem Check in bereits bekannt (Aussage des Hausmeisters), aber außer einem Fan können man nichts tun. Diesen haben wir nicht angenommen, da wir gerade unsere Erkältung durch den letzten Fan, der uns in einem Hotel wegen fehlender Klimaanlage ausgehändigt wurde, auskuriert hatten. Der angesprochene Mitarbeiter sagte, er könne es nur an die Vorgesetzte weitergeben. Diese wusste am nächsten Tag davon angeblich nichts und bot uns außer einer Entschuldigung nichts an. Weder ein Frühstück oder Rabatt dafür, dass in einem Zimmer ohne Fenster zwei Tage die Klimaanlage ausgefallen war. Leider sahen wir dann abends in dem Außen Sitzbereich des Hotels noch Ratten, so dass wir lieber wieder aufs Zimmer gingen.

One female staff member badly lets your team down

Piaciuto di piùYou have an amazing team at Hotel De Hallen apart from one bad egg that stands on the board behind your reception in the morning / early afternoons. She is off putting with her constant negativity, bad attitude and her sighing behind the counter. I witnessed countless negative interactions with both guests / colleagues throughout my stay when leaving + entering the hotel. She clearly doesn’t want to be there and is majorly off putting to guests that may want to return to your hotel with her being the first point of contact. I would like to add the Asian gentleman that worked the evenings / nights on the reception was brilliant, attentive and welcoming she could learn a lot from him. I would rather return to your sister hotel de vijsel rather than deal with her again.
