How Edenfinder makes money, and why it stays free for you
No hidden fees: using the comparison is free and the total you see is what you pay. Here is where our revenue actually comes from, booking by booking.

The first thing careful people ask is always the same: if the comparison costs me nothing, where is the catch. It is a fair question, and it deserves a precise answer, not a slogan. Our revenue comes from two places, and in neither of them do you pay anything extra for having come through Edenfinder.
When you book directly on Edenfinder
If you complete your booking on edenfinder.com, the price you see includes a small intermediation margin: that is our compensation, already part of the total shown before you pay. No extra line appears at checkout, no service fee, no surprise: the total you see is what gets charged. Payment is processed by Nuitee Travel Limited as merchant of record, which also issues the invoice, and the accommodation contract is always between you and the property. Your card details never touch our servers.
That same margin also funds the things we like most: the welcome discounts on some properties, where we give up part of our compensation to lower the rate, the Edenpoints that give you 1% of the stay back, and the matching donation to the non-profits we support. None of it is added to your price: it comes out of ours.
When you book on a partner site
The comparison also shows rates from platforms like Booking.com, Expedia and Hotels.com, and for flights the results of the Aviasales engines. If you book there through one of our links, the partner pays us an affiliate commission. It comes out of the partner's margin, not your pocket: the price on their site is identical to what you would have found arriving on your own.
Why this works in your favour
We only earn if you book, so inflating prices would be an own goal: the lower the rate, the more likely you actually leave. That is why we compare dozens of sites, and why, when another platform beats our own rate, we show it anyway, with a direct link to book there. It has cost us a few bookings, but it is the reason a comparator deserves trust: the order of the results is not for sale, and nobody pays us to climb the ranking.
What we do not do
We do not add costs to the total, we do not make you create an account to see the rates, and we do not resell your data to advertisers. We take you to the cheapest price we can find, ours or someone else's, and we stop there.
Edenfinder
Paradise has a price. We find it lower.
We compare prices for the same hotels across every major booking platform, with direct links to the right page.
