The Hotel Carlton surpassed our expectations given how reasonable the cost was.

Liked mostWe loved this hotel. The room was modern and comfortable with great air con which was needed! Friendly and helpful staff; we were able to store our luggage; nice breakfast; GREAT location. We slept great in a big comfy bed and quiet room.

Liked mostThe location was good, as the hotel was situated between the train station and the city center, making it easy to walk to both.

Could improveThe room we stayed in did not have a drying rack or any suitable place to hang our beach towels and swimsuits. For a hotel located right by the sea, especially considering that we stayed in July, it was disappointing not to have such basic and easily anticipated facilities. Additionally, there was not enough space for two people to put their clothes. The ‘closet’ provided was extremely small and not really practical for a couple staying at the hotel.
