For a pleasant and comfortable stay in Rome

Not what I expected.

Liked mostThe hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff that run the breakfast buffet is excellent and very accommodating.

Could improveWhen I booked this room I was under the impression that there was going to be 2-3 beds. I booked a triple room. What we got was a room with a queens bed and a cot. I asked the gentleman at the desk to make arrangements for us to go to the airport. He said it would be 150 euro’s because we needed a van to take us to the airport. I never got a recite for this transaction as it needed to be paid in cash or he would not even book the transportation's. I was a little surprised that the van driver knew nothing of this transaction and wanted to charge me 70 euro’s for the ride. I explained that we already paid and were not allow to leave until he confirmed this with the Hotel.. So was the ride really 150 euro’s or was it 70 and who got the rest. Not sure. We were overcharged by several vendors that seem to make up their own prices as they go along. They have a very small reception area that gets very congested with the guest and new arrivals. No real place to store your luggage while you wait for a room.
