Could improveGetting locked inside the gated garage area late at night. Please be aware that after parking your car, you exit the garage and then have to walk down a ramp to a green gate. THIS GATE IS LOCKED AT NIGHT AND THERE ARE NO SIGNS TELLING YOU WHAT TO DO. YOU ARE EFFECTIVELY LOCKED IN. We arrived late and despite the receptionist initially letting us into the garage so clearly seeing us on his screen, he made no effort to help us get out. Eventually the gate was unlocked but we had a very frustrating long wait in the middle of the night in sweltering 30 degrees heat and after driving for 8 hours. This was not 4 star hotel service. To make matters worse, not only did the receptionist at the desk not apologise but instead decided this was incredibly funny and couldn’t understand why we were upset. A different receptionist the next morning, did apologise on his behalf which was appreciated. All in all however, this was a very disappointing experience. Please note you pay €23 for the car park which frankly after our experience we should NOT have been charged!!

Great, old fashioned stay in Milano.
