Four day stay at Helsinki.

Liked mostThe hotel is quite old, but it has been renovated to a good standard. One thing that left a negative impression was the receptionist, who immediately pointed out how small the room we had booked was and offered us an upgrade for an additional €20 per night. In reality, the room was of a perfectly adequate size for two people.

Could improveThe room itself was comfortable, although it was located quite far from both the reception and the hotel’s main entrance. Another downside was that the windows could not be opened, so we had to rely on the air conditioning throughout our stay, which was not particularly pleasant.

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay in a great location

Liked mostBeautifully restored old building with additions. Staff extremely helpful, breakfast buffet excellent and waiting staff charming and attentive. Our room was very nice with a huge bathroom. The only negative really was that the restaurant was not open in the evening during our stay although a limited menu was available in the bar area.

Could improveThe only negative was the restaurant not open during our stay - Sunday to Wednesday.
