Excellent location, but not a luxury hotel suggested by the price tag!

Could improveFor a pretty expensive hotel (~£250/night), the rooms were quite basic with no tea/coffee making facilities. At breakfast we were asked to vacate our table so that other guests could be accommodated. Whilst I understand that staff may be under pressure to find room for guests, it’s not acceptable (to me) that we were made to feel that we had outstayed our welcome! Although the person who asked us to leave later apologised, the damage was done! Milan was the last leg of our tour of Switzerland and northern Italy and unfortunately, the overall experience at Palazzo Segreti was not a highlight of our trip.

Could improveIt was very noisy- i couldn't ascertain if it was the lift or the road outside but it was so loud that the bed vibrated.
