Great stay in a nice hotel in Copenhagen

Liked mostWe loved our stay here. It is well placed and within walking distance of the main attractions. The staff on reception (both Italian and Danish) were all very helpful in guiding us on the best places to visit. There are some nice bars close to the hotel and the bar in the hotel is cosy and welcoming.

Decent hotel in convenient location

Liked mostWe chose the Absalon for its air conditioning (in the superior rooms) and proximity to the central train station and nice restaurants. We were glad for the AC as it was in the low 80’s at the end of July. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast very good, and the staff very helpful. They helped us with the public transportation app and got us a very nice cabbie when we were headed to the cruise terminal. The lighting in the bathroom could have been better and the cleanliness in the elevators should be addressed. There’s a lovely bar with comfortable indoor seating plus an outdoor courtyard with seating. All in all, a nice place to stay. Definitely make reservations for the restaurants you want to go to.
