Beautiful bathroom and amazing breakfast

Liked mostThe welcome was very nice. They were busy at the desk, but we could wait in the reception and have cookies and lemonade. Beds were good. Bathroom was recently renovated and spotless. The breakfast is extensive with wonderfully pleasant servers.

Why hadn't we discovered this before?

Liked mostWe spent four days in Ballsbridge helping our son move after living in Dublin for nearly five years (and in Ballsbridge for the last two). During our visits over the years, we've stayed at several different places in the area. My only regret is that we didn't discover Ariel House sooner! Everything about our stay was exceptional—the staff, the accommodations, the breakfast, the afternoon tea, the beautiful drawing room, and, of course, the location. It's just a two-minute walk from Lansdowne Road DART Station and right next to Aviva Stadium, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Dublin. Ironically, the price was probably the reason we had never considered booking a B&B directly before. That turned out to be a mistake. After leaving Dublin, we helped our son move to London and stayed in an Airbnb that had none of Ariel House's charm—no breakfast, no afternoon tea, no welcoming staff, no inviting common spaces—and it cost more than 60% per night than our stay at Ariel House! We're also so glad we booked directly with Ariel House rather than through a third-party site. From start to finish, the experience couldn't have been better. One unexpected bonus was getting to meet and chat with several other guests, which added even more warmth to our stay. If you're planning a visit to Dublin—especially if you're staying in Ballsbridge—make Ariel House your first choice. We couldn't recommend it more highly, and we'll certainly be back.

A beautiful stay in a great location

Liked mostIt’s in a perfect location! Very close to the Dart (train) or you can walk into the centre in about 20 minutes. It’s a gorgeous property, beautifully decorated and the staff on reception are very helpful and always gave a warm greeting. The addition of the sitting room with games, tea, coffee, cakes, alcohol etc is a lovely touch and we thoroughly enjoyed having somewhere else to relax that wasn’t in the room. We will definitely be recommending it to friends and family who come to stay in Dublin!

Could improve- There wasn’t anywhere in the bathroom to have your toiletries or put anything down. - The breakfast- let me firstly say that on the whole we really did enjoy it! A great section was on offer. The soda bread was especially delicious. However, we were slightly let down by the breakfast on a couple of occasions. The ‘main’ comes out before you’ve finished your porridge or granola and that seemed to happen with everyone, so we ended up not ordering that because you could never finish it before your main arrived. Then, on our last day our orders came out wrong (which is fine accidents happen!) but then mine came out wrong a second time to which I just gave up and ate what I had been given. I own my own Cafe and I’m aware that mistakes happen believe me, but I was let down by the waitress not apologising or checking in to see how it was after- the service was not good on that occasion but other mornings the staff were great!

Liked mosttrès belles prestations dans l'ensemble, le personnel est prévenant et serviable, la chambre confortable. La localisation permet de rayonner dans Dublin à pieds pour la majorité des visites.

Could improveLa salle de bain mériterait une petite rénovation (sol fissuré par exemple) avec ajout d'un meuble vasque permettant a minima de poser sa trousse de toilettes (rien ne permet de poser si ce n'est le dessus des toilettes ce qui n'est pas idéal !)

Liked mostMooi, comfortabel centraal hotel om de stad Dublin te bezoeken dat makkelijk te bereiken is met het openbaar vervoer (Dart trein of bus). Uitstekend ontbijt en supervriendelijk personeel.
