Perfect location

Liked mostA wonderful hotel in a great location for walking to all the historical sights, shops and restaurants. The bottle of champagne in my room on arrival was very thoughtful and a lovely touch. The staff were delightful and so helpful especially Revekka and Panagiota who made my stay wonderful and very memorable. They organized a driver for me during my stay, Yannis picked me up a few times, he was fabulous and made me feel very safe as a solo traveler. I loved my room on the 4th floor and sitting out on the terrace in the evenings looking up at the Acropolis at sunset. Highly recommended.

A pleasant stay

Liked mostGreat location in Plaka. 5 minutes walk to Acropolis. The small kitchen is really nice. Welcome champagne on the first day. Room is spacious. Bathroom ceiling is beautiful. Friendly staff.

Look no further- hands down the best hotel

Liked mostSimply amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better location. From our balcony, we had incredible views of the Acropolis and the Temple of Zeus—something I'll never forget. Everything was within a 5-minute walk: amazing restaurants, shops, historic sites, and all the sightseeing you could want. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, spotless, and the staff made us feel right at home. We feel incredibly blessed to have had this experience. When we come back to Athens, there's no question, we'll be staying here again. Highly recommend.

Liked mostLocalização é ótima. O bairro é uma gracinha, cheio de restaurantes, bares nas ruas. Comercio bom. Dá pra fazer tudo a pé. Acrópole, museu tudo andando. Quarto bom, tamanho também.

Could improveO hotel satisfez minhas necessidades. Só me arrependi de não ter reservado quarto com visita pra Acrópole.

A peaceful home in the middle of the action

Liked mostWe had a wonderful 3-night stay at the AVA hotel in June. It was our first time in Athens, and the hotel gave us the perfect combination of a central location with a private and peaceful hotel. We could walk to everything - the National Garden, the Plaka, the Acropolis, etc. - and yet, once we were inside the hotel, we felt removed from the crowd. We had a beautiful room with a bedroom and separate sitting room (with fold-out sleep sofa), so we were very comfortable. The staff was warm and welcoming and gave us help whenever we needed it. Prior to our visit, they sent us an email offering additional services, and we took them up on two: transportation to/from the airport, and a private trip to the Temple of Poseidon (90-minute drive from Athens down the coast). Highly recommend the trip to the Temple of Poseidon: fewer tourists than the Acropolis, and very beautiful at Sunset. Our driver for both was Yannis, who was warm and fun and very professional. Many thanks to the great staff at the AVA for a terrific stay.
