Great location and facilities, with a few minor issues

Liked mostExcellent location, great facilities and very good service. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the milk waiting for us in the fridge on arrival. Bottled water was replenished every day, as were the Nespresso capsules. The hotel was very well equipped and the location was especially convenient for getting around.

Could improveThere were some issues with the air conditioning/heating unit, although these were eventually resolved. At checkout, we were asked whether we would like to leave an additional tip of almost £25 and were told that it was optional. We clearly declined, but a few days later we discovered that the amount had nevertheless been charged to our card, which was very disappointing. The window in the living room did not seal properly, so there was a noticeable draught even when it was fully closed. There was also a constant low humming noise coming from the adjacent building, possibly from a ventilation system. It wasn’t particularly loud, but it was noticeable.
