Really disappointing. Won't stay again.

Could improveWe arrived during a very hot weekend in London. When we entered the room we found that the air conditioner was not working. We had been given no prior notice of this. If we had, we would have made alternate accommodation arrangements. The room was baking hot and stayed that way for the 2 nights we stayed there. We were provided with a portable fan and portable air conditioner. The air conditioner only worked for a couple of hours when it was topped up with ice. My husband and I barely slept the nights we stayed there due to the heat. We received no apology from staff. It was extremely disappointing given we had been loyal guests. There was also an awful smell emanating from the drain in the bathroom and black mould in the corners of the shower.

Liked mostlovely location with easy access to transport and amenities. Set in a pretty and quiet area and while we were there there was a big screen set up with deckchairs to watch Wimbledon, in the adjacent square. No through traffic as it is gated off.
