10.0The Perfect Place To Stay In Florence
Liked mostYou would be hard-pressed to find a better location than this in Florence, in the heart of the city and literally opposite the Duomo! Our room was beautifully decorated and the private terrace was spacious and comfortable. Given how noisy it was the moment you stepped out of the building, it was amazing how quiet and serene it was in both in our room and on our terrace. The complimentary Nespresso machine and chocolates in the common area were lovely touches, too. A special mention goes to Andrea, who was incredibly friendly and helpful - not just during our stay but from the moment we made the booking several months ago; he even went personally to a restaurant we had asked if he could phone up to make a booking at for us, when he couldn't get through on the phone! I don't think there was any ask that Andrea wouldn't have tried to sort out - he's an absolute asset to the property. It's worth noting there's no lift, so if you've got a heavy suitcase it's a bit of a stagger up the stairs (but again Andrea was on hand to help, having actually met us outside on the street when we arrived). We'd also ask the property to provide some form of milk or powdered creamer in the room as there didn't seem to be any that we could find.
