Liked mostI booked this hotel on Trivago but when I arrived Trivago had cancelled my booking without my knowledge or permission. They did however refund me my money. The owner gave me a reasonable deal in order not to disappoint me. The hotel is very cosy and homely and the staff were wonderful. The breakfasts were first class. My room for a double was very small and had some of the basics missing. There was no wardrobe, no hangers, no chest of drawers, no ironing board, iron or fridge, all of which I expect in a 4 star hotel. However, the owner did supply some hangers later when I brought up the subject. There were pegs sticking out of the wall about 6 feet from the ground and that is where I was supposed to hang my clothes. She left a stool so that I could reach the pegs. I would never sleep in a room with clothes hanging around as it would look like bed-sit land. Many of the reviews state how spacious the rooms in this hotel were but mine certainly was not. However, despite the obvious drawbacks, I enjoyed my stay very much. The food was very good, the location was excellent and the room was very comfortable. However, I would never pay the 295 Euros the owner claimed this room usually cost.
