Excellent on all counts

Liked mostMy partner and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a 3-week trip — and had an absolutely excellent experience. The service was top notch: checkin was welcoming, fast and helpful; water, coffee and tea were replenished immediately; and staff were eager to help us make a reservation at a restaurant in another hotel. The room was spotless and well-equipped. The location is perfect for sightseeing across Amsterdam, while also offering a much-needed calm and relaxing oasis from the hustle outside. The onsite bar, Super Lyan, quickly became one of our most favorite cocktail bars ever. The drinks were excellent (interesting and well balanced) and the food shockingly good. And the bar staff were just fantastic - fast, friendly and knowledgeable. We would happily stay here whenever we’re back in Amsterdam!

Liked mostWe had a very pleasant stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the room was quiet despite the central location. The hotel has a beautiful modern design, is very clean, and the location is excellent – within walking distance of Amsterdam Central Station and many attractions. The staff were friendly and professional, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The gym was very well equipped.

Could improveThe breakfast was disappointing for a five-star hotel. The selection was rather limited, and the quality did not meet our expectations. The coffee was below average. We also missed having at least a small wellness area, such as a sauna or spa, which we would normally expect at this level of hotel.
