Unfortunately, this resort was a huge disappointment for us and did not meet our expectations of a 5-star all-inclusive

Liked mostWe stayed in a Swim-Up Suite with a garden view, and that was probably the best part of our stay. It gave us a quiet place away from the main pool area. The private plunge pool was unusable during the day. The water was never changed and became almost like boiling water under the sun. The bottom was dirty and appeared to be rarely, if ever, cleaned, which was unacceptable for a luxury resort. The room itself was already very worn out and did not feel like a luxury suite. The mirrors were heavily scratched, many surfaces showed visible wear, and we found numerous insects in the bed linens. The shower floor was built without enough slope, causing water to flood the bathroom after a very quick shower. Our private plunge pool/jacuzzi also did not appear to be cleaned properly, and the water became extremely hot during the day. Overall, the room looked tired and poorly maintained. The hair dryer was also in very poor condition. It smelled like burning plastic while in use and overheated so badly that the casing became extremely hot and red, making it feel unsafe to use.

The lobby and grand staircase create a beautiful first impression, but once you get beyond them, the rooms and many of the facilities feel neglected and poorly maintained.
