lovely modern apartment in a character and aged building within 10mins of the main drag!! added bonus basement courtyard

Liked mostLarge airy apartment thanks to the basement courtyard that came with it and especially welcome as we were there during a heatwave!! - Yes a heatwave in Edinburgh in May!! lol …… The apartment itself was clean, provided us with comfortable accommodation and was close enough to the main areas to either walk or Uber into wherever you wanted to go. Very quiet , which is very good after a busy day and or night out. Kitchen provided a full size fridge and freezer (ice!!) which was great after a motorhomes mini fridge!! lol All in all a nice place for a few days!!

Could improveBeing such an old building it did not have lifts or parking, so there was a steep flight of stairs down to the basement apartment and parking was a good 15 mins away in a multi storey car park!….. We knew this in advance , so it’s not a complaint more of a comment for those who like me can struggle with stairs and of course if you have a lot of luggage , dropping off its keep your eyes open for traffic wardens!! and be prepared for the stairs once you get in the front door !! lol Otherwise no complaints!

Good stay which would have been made better by a few thoughtful touches mentioned above

Could improveThey provide a coffee machine but no capsules. Also they provide an iron but no ironing board. Small things that would have made a big difference to our stay.
