Great!

Liked mostClean hotel with friendly staff. Location was great. We used public transportation but also walked for the 4 days we stayed. We arrived early and the hotel kept our luggage while we went sightseeing. Around 2 o'clock we got a text saying our room was ready. Would stay there again.

Great hotel to base out of for exploring SF!

Liked mostWe stayed at the Orchard Hotel for 3 nights in July during our stay in San Francisco. We had a Grand Deluxe King room that we found to be very roomy for a city hotel. The hotel was very clean and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. We were able to walk to Chinatown, Pier 39 & Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghiradelli Square and Lombard street. The hills are STEEP though, so if you choose not to walk, there is a cable car steps from the hotel that goes to the wharf. You can use public transportation to get to places a bit further away, like the Presidio/Golden Gate Bridge, but we chose Uber to make it easier. The only caveat is that the hotel needs to update their website - there is no longer turn down service or a concierge, neither of which would have mattered to us, but since it was advertised we expected it. So, just a bit misleading. However, what they did offer was great and we would definitely stay here again if we return to San Francisco.

The best experience

Liked mostI had an outstanding experience with The Orchard Hotel and their incredible staff. During my stay, I purchased a medical device that unfortunately arrived after I had already returned to Chile. The hotel kindly received and safely stored the package for several weeks while I looked for a solution. Collins Chu and the entire Front Office team went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect. They provided package measurements and photos, coordinated with me through multiple emails, printed a FedEx shipping label, and even handed the package to the FedEx driver for pickup. Their kindness, patience, professionalism, and willingness to help turned what had become a very stressful situation into a successful outcome. This level of customer service is truly exceptional and something I will always remember. I highly recommend The Orchard Hotel—not only because of its excellent location and comfortable accommodations, but especially because of the outstanding people who work there. Thank you again to Collins and the entire Orchard Hotel team!
