Super stylish with amazing views

Liked mostLoved the views and the provisions for snacks and cocktails. Staff were super helpful and accommodating.

Could improveAccess was a little painful for taxi's up a long winding hill with sharp turns but I guess they are used to it! Not an area to take local walks.

The service was flawless (Thalita 👏👏) and every detail -from cleanliness to comfort-was top . The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable , with thoughtful touches ( mosquito spray ) .Probably one of the best hotel breakfest we ever had (guacamole ❤️) with charming staff to go with it. Éblouissant de nuit comme de jour

Liked mostLe Paradis. Habitues de road trip, nous avons décidé cette fois de rester 2 semaines au même endroit. Quel bonheur. Cet établissement est juste « comme à la maison » . La vue est à coupé le souffle, à 20 minutes des plages emblématiques. Un cocon en pleine forêt où il est facile de se reposer et de prendre le temps. La qualité du service est top, et un grand bravo à toute l équipe pour sa gentillesse, professionnalisme. Une équipe au top et qui se plie en 4 pour nous faire plaisir. Ils partagent avec fierté les bonnes adresses en fonction de nos envies. On y retournera, alors sans doute pas tout notre séjour, mais cela deviendra notre adresse des premiers jours. Merci à vous

Liked mostMooi huis, mooie kamers en het mooiste uitzicht van Rio. Alle ruimtes zijn stijlvol ingericht. Heerlijk zwembad en een overheerlijk ontbijt. De plek is echt uniek.

Best view ever.

Liked mostThe location has a superlative view, it’s impossible to deny that. You feel like wanting to stay forever in the rooftop. But nothing is perfect, and arriving and leaving the pousada is by far not as convenient as being in other places with metro or Ubers within easy reach, so bear this in mind when booking. We already had this idea so we split our stay in Rio between 3 nights in Zona Sul and 2 nights in Rio144 and absolutely recommend it. The staff (Thalita) was always nice and available, the breakfast is lovely (not buffet fyi, so smaller portions are served) and the room is beautiful and comfortable.

Could improveSome aspects could be improved, like the sound-proofing of the rooms, which is poor. The area is quiet and peaceful at night (unlike Zona Sul) but the opening window from the bathroom to the common corridor of the hotel (which is an outside space) does not close well and there are no double glazed glasses - this means you can hear everything clearly, from other guests dragging bags to the cleaning staff chattering or sweeping the floor at 7 am.
