Liked mostWhile I try to understand the open to nature concept, which is what I believe they’re doing. The facility needs to do a greater job with mosquito control. The bed had a net, however mosquitoes were inside the net. The insect repellant available in the room didn’t do much to prevent the mosquitoes bites we suffered from all night. We had to fully cover ourselves under the sheets despite the heat, only to avoid the bites. The opened to nature concept also allowed for us to find droppings from birds and lizards throughout the room, which wasn’t all that great. I’m happy we didn’t stay here more than a night, as I’m not sure how we would’ve coped with this. Especially the mosquitoes issue, which was our biggest problem. Given that the net provided still didn’t prevent mosquitoes from getting to us. We could actually see mosquitoes flying on the inside of the net. With such an opened room concept, I truly believe more needs to be done to reduce the amount of mosquitoes inside the rooms.
