Liked mostIl Riad ti permette di vivere appieno la vita locale, è nel cuore della medina, tra le case della gente del posto, a due passi dalla piazza principale Jemaa El Fnaa e dai souk. Inoltre i ragazzi che lavorano nella struttura (Aymane, Saida, Houda) sono ragazzi disponibili, gentili e pronti ad assisterti per ogni necessità. Davvero molto in gamba e volenterosi, accoglienti e sorridenti. Offrono una buonissima e ricca colazione, pancake, frittatine, focaccine locali, crepes, succo di arancia, te, caffè, uova, marmellate, olive..servita sui loro terrazzini da favola.

Could improveThe reception guy and cleaning lady staff were very loud, discuting together really loudly from 7 to 9am without any consideration for peace of the guests, they managed to destroy the lovely mood of the riad

Liked mostWat een fantastisch verblijf heb ik hier gehad! Vanaf het moment dat ik aankwam voelde ik me ontzettend welkom. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en doet er echt alles aan om je verblijf zo fijn mogelijk te maken. De kamer was prachtig, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De locatie is ook perfect: midden in de medina, waardoor alles op loopafstand is, maar tegelijkertijd is het in de riad heerlijk rustig. Het voelt echt als een oase van rust na een drukke dag in de stad. Een speciale dank aan Aymane. Op mijn laatste dag werd ik helaas ziek en hij heeft mij ontzettend goed geholpen. Hij bracht mijn ontbijt naar mijn kamer, kwam regelmatig vragen of ik iets nodig had, hielp mij met mijn bagage en vervoer en regelde zelfs mijn transfer naar het vliegveld. Zijn betrokkenheid en zorg hebben een vervelende dag een stuk draaglijker gemaakt. Nogmaals ontzettend bedankt aan het hele team voor de geweldige gastvrijheid. Mocht ik ooit terugkomen naar Marrakech, dan verblijf ik zonder twijfel weer hier. Een absolute aanrader!

A nice place to spend some days in Marrakesh

Liked mostThe Riad is at a perfect location, into the medina. The breakfast was delicious and the staff really polite and helpful.

Could improveThe room was quite small for 2 people, as the bed was taking the most space of the room and with our luggages we couldn’t move very easily.

Liked mostStaying at the Riad la Cigale was a wonderful experience. A peaceful oasis in the vibrant and exciting city of Marrakesh. All the staff were lovely. Yassmine the manager really went out of her way when I had credit card payment problems and sorted them for me. Her advice on what to visit with the use of the riad's map was very useful and booking of tours was really easy. Breakfasts on the terrace, pure joy with cool breezes and visiting birds. Saida and Aymane helped me in so many ways and I really appreciated their support.
