A safe, well-located hotel with excellent staff, but the self-catering breakfast concept did not match the relaxing holi

Liked mostThe location was excellent, within easy reach of the beach, restaurants, and major attractions such as Table Mountain. The staff were helpful and welcoming throughout our stay, and the security was top-notch, which made us feel very safe and comfortable.

Could improveI was quite surprised by the breakfast concept and the fact that we were expected to prepare our own breakfast. Frankly, I went on holiday to relax, and having to wake up earlier to cook breakfast myself was not the experience I expected from a hotel stay. Although staff were available to take care of the cleaning afterwards, the self-catering breakfast concept still took away from the relaxing and convenient holiday experience I was hoping for.
