Absolutely Amazing!

Liked mostThis place is truly a gem! It exceeded our expectations in every way! The food was delicious, and I loved the presentation of the dishes. The service was outstanding and truly personalized. Finally, the room and the property were so beautiful! A must-stay for sure!!

Liked mostTLDR: Location and vibe is fantastic, food was sometimes great mostly ok, price gouge on site is predatory. Gross smell in bathrooms. Arrival was very easy and our room was stunning. Better than the photos. Staff was attentive and friendly. Ocean is white sand and swimmable and the whole resort is extremely well kept. The room was great and having a plunge pool was great with the kid. I will say it was family friendly for sure. Only bummer was the septic smell from any/all drains. Was rough. We thought it would get better but only got worse especially when it rained. Was gross. F&B was good and bad. We ate all our meals on site. A few items that were delicious (tacos and poke bowl) but we had more mid items than good (coffee, salads, majority of casa milpas menu, burger). Nothing cost less than $30 a dish. We ordered the same thing every morning on ro service (scrambled egg and Greek yogurt with fruit) and every day it was different and a different price. Sometimes $50 sometimes $75. They didn’t really know their own menu. They didn’t have basics either, asking for potato chips or even Mexican snack items drew strange looks. Then there’s the beverage menu. Cocktail menus were unimaginative (except the Ocaso NA drink was fantastic) and virtually no tequila/mezcal cocktails? Was pretty strange. I am somm certified and the wine menu was fine but the prices were astronomical. Some nice valle wines but all were priced 10x the cost, double what I’ve seen Michelin star restaurants list them at. You couldn’t buy a wine on the list for less than a $150. I’m a cocktail before I order and wine with dinner guy. I stuck to single pours of nice tequila and beer all week. The tequila list is very well curated but yes very pricey. I speak Spanish so occasionally on a few bills I got a “Nacional” discount of 25% because they thought I lived in Mexico. Pretty wild to think they’re essentially up charging all gringos 25%. The “cuates” were helpful but anything outside the resort they were simply grifters at best. They don’t have golf, so if you want to go golf getting a taxi there and back is $150usd before green fees. They don’t have pizza so if you want delivery it’s $60+ whatever they charge for pizza (pizza shop was a mile away). For reference airport is an hour drive and cost us $87 round trip in a private car we booked separately. All in all if I had to go back I would get a rental car and explore the area for meals. All the waiters were kind and cool.

A Quiet and Serene Getaway

Liked mostSusurros del Corazón is the perfect place to have a relaxing and romantic vacation. While there are families and other couples around, you don't ever feel overcrowded; and often we found ourselves enjoying pool or beach time with only two or three other people, if that. The staff are really what make the resort special, and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Can't recommend this place enough!

Liked mostMy family and older kids had a fantastic time! The food, drink, and accommodations were all amazing, couldn't have had a more fun and relaxing time. Especially enjoyed drinks and lunch on the beach while watching the boys surf. Also loved the in-room dining experience, the Fourth of July party and fireworks, and the wine tasting experience – we've been to Napa and Italy but who knew Mexico had such amazing wines!!?? Can't recommend this place enough!

Fabulous new resort for couples with great architectural features.

Liked mostWe stayed here after I researched about the best resort to stay in Mexico to celebrate our anniversary with our 2 young sons. I found out about this resort from Travel & Leisure Magazine that it was amongst the top new resorts in Mexico . At arrival you assigned to a butler ( someone similar who looks after you during your stay) . Karina was very gracious , knowledgeable and attentive and provided us with top notch service . We had stayed at Conrad Punta de mita just before we arrived here. The kids club at Conrad is better but this place has a quieter ambiance very well suited for couples . The rooms are gorgeous with fantastic architectural touches and are literally brand new or feel like it. I loved the bathrooms with rainfall showers with flooring in shower area with special stones which massage your feet as you take the shower . The Restaurants are excellent however they do not have air conditioning as they are open air like many high end restaurants in Mexico. We found a Restaurant at nearby Four seasons ( Aramara) that had airconditioning..15 minutes drive via Uber.. The four seasons has spectacular views as it is on a hill however it appears to be older and vibe is more active. We had all our breakfasts here at Auberge . delicious omelettes and loved the french toast . Overall my wife was happy but kids did not like the kids club here as there were not too many kids staying here unlike the Conrad. which also had organized activities for kids for free with ping pong table , soccer table & games. Overall a wonderful stay . Also we saved money by getting transport with uber and they are quite safe .

Liked mostAmazing experience in the spectacular Auberge Resort. Absolutely can not say enough good things! The beauty and service will spoil you and we really did not want to leave. Next time will stay longer.
