Expensive boutique hotel with motel asthetic

Could improveBoutique here i think refers only to the lack of services. No one to help with bags on arrival or bring them to the room. Room was dusty on my arrival. No room service. Asked for a wine opener that was supposed to come in 15 mins (!) and never came. Shouldn’t it be in the room maybe? You can hear the neighbors too. The hotel aesthetic is questionable, LED TV screens everywhere in the lobby, total visual pollution besides being completely tasteless. In many ways felt like an expensive motel with questionable taste. It is, quite plainly, the soul of a highway motel dressed in a designer price tag.

Nice hotel for a night in the city

Liked mostThe staff was super nice and the valet was very efficient. The design of the lobby was pretty and the coffee at the radiator cafe was great! The bed was comfortable and we had a nice view!

Could improveThe water pressure was really low, I couldn’t wash my hair. The carpet in the room could need replacing as it looked dirty. We didn’t feel comfortable walking on it without shoes.
