A beautiful hotel in a fabulous location, despite a few problems encountered I would recommend it.

Liked mostThe location of the hotel is fantastic. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are friendly. The luxury king rooms are lovely and the beds are so comfortable. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. The bars are lovely and again the staff were friendly.

Could improveWe booked 3 rooms. Check in was unbearably long but then we found out the girl checking us in was a trainee and someone else with more experience finally took over but it still took way too long. One of our rooms was not luxury king even though this is what we paid for, they just gave us a couple of bar tokens as an apology. One of the rooms tv didn’t work so maintenance men were in the room a lot, even when we wanted to relax for an hour and get changed for the evening. One of the men commenting it’s lovely and cool in here suggesting they didn’t want to leave the room. So we felt our privacy was invaded at that point. We were given a couple of bar tokens for the inconvenience! Room service didn’t come on the first day. Very disappointing. The staff were quick to rectify this though. Just lots of small things such as loose taps in the bathroom, and no plug sockets near the mirror etc that built up to us feeling it wasn’t quite up to the high standard we were paying for. However I do think we would give it another chance and stay again.
