Liked mostThe breakfast was amazing! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and took such good care of us. This was one of the best hotels that I have stayed at. The food was exquisite! The management of this hotel really has it figured out. Exceptional!

Could improveI suppose that if I knew that the apartments were not part of the hotel, I would have chosen to stay in the hotel. The apartment was nice, but I would say the hotel would have been a better overall experience.

A wonderful 4 nights for my partners birthday, we can’t wait to return to Porto or use another Torel property in Portuga

Liked mostIts location is fantastic for everything and conveniently located for the metro which connects you to further afield. Beautiful high ceilings and luxurious furniture. Breakfast was excellent , especially George. Thiago, Pedro and Luis made the stay even more special with the warmth and friendliness not to mention the excellent recommendations for dining and organising a trip to the Douro valley.

Fantastic Weekend Stay at a lovely Hotel

Liked mostThe hotel is ideally located a few minutes walk downhill to the waterfront. The atmosphere is fantastic, the reception, restaurant and main spaces are styled to an extremely high standard. Our room was on the 1st floor and was excellently designed, with high ceilings and a firm but extremely comfortable bed. The hotel and rooms were absolutely spotless and the housekeepers do a fantastic job of keeping the place looking great. The staff were very friendly and attentive, even keeping our bags when we arrived way before checkin - they also messaged to advise when the room was ready so that we were able to go enjoy our time in Porto. The hotel is not the cheapest, but it is definitely worth it given the fantastic surroundings, great food and friendly staff Should we visit Porto again, we would definitely stay here
