Piaciuto di piùWell we showed up at this hotel in the early morning off a cruise and hoped to store our bags securely until check in time. We were told to take our bags to a storage room and were provided with a code. I can't say in my 60 years on the planet that exact scenario has previously occurred. We were like bags # 5 and #6 at the time and I stuffed into a corner and moved a laptop into a big bag to hide it. Did not feel super comfortable with this setup. Fast forward, we come back from sightseeing around 2:45pm and the room is not ready. A lady at check-in tells me she will come find me when the room is ready. We go get our bags and the storage room is overflowing with bags and I basically have to dig my bags out of the corner. Very hot day and very warm in the hotel. Drag bags to reception, sit there sweating profusely and around 3:20pm, I finally approach reception and the room is ready. Viola! Room is nice and spacious although the bathroom is very small and given the large footprint of the room, not sure who designed the bathroom layout. Room had no A/C and is over 80 degrees when we enter and the dyson fan doesn't make a dent. Eventually it cools off and rains outside and with windows open, the inside room temperature only goes down to 79 degrees. But with the fan blowing on me, I am able to get some sleep. NOTE: No screens on the windows and we saw at least 3 mosquitos enter the room. In the morning, I check out the breakfast buffet which looks average but is very expensive so I pass on this.
